First paper is tomorrow. I'm currently studying in my uni's library while listening to some awesome instrumentals specifically composed to improve concentration. It's a youtube channel called Study Music Project. It's so helpful and I love it so much ^^
Surprisingly, I'm more chilled than ever for this finals. I hope it's not a bad thing coz seriously, there's still a lot to cover. I just don't wanna be a pathetic paranoid kid no more. Last semester syndrome, maybe? Or maybe it's just the temporary therapeutic effect of the study music playlist. Lol. Maybe this feeling is just gonna last until the next paper... hmm.
Definitely aiming to graduate this time and I'm suddenly feeling so much about this course... this profession. Life as a practicing pharmacist used to seem so far ahead but now it's just a few months away. Am I ready for it? Maybe, maybe not. But I'm reminded of when I first enrolled into this course, having almost zero idea of how a pharmacist is like. I had never been to a retail pharmacy, never stepped my foot into a hospital and I didn't even know what paracetamol is. Haha. And I've come this far. =')
Now I'm starting to feel the responsibility of a pharmacist. It hits home when I've come to realise that one day, it might be my loved ones who come to me to get consultation on drug therapy. It can be my friends from different walks of life, my family members, or my friends' family members. Most of us will have some medical ailments now and then. It happens more often than we think. People just don't talk about it.
So, will I be able to provide help when the time comes? ... This is now my drive to study better for exams. It feels more real than before now - maybe it's another symptom of the last-sem syndrome. Lol. Yes, there's a lot to memorise.. But that's gonna be so useful. It will form a huge part of my life.. It will be my asset.
So study hard, Yen Yee. Not only for the grades, but for your own knowledge to practice. For the people you love.
p/s: I've got soooo much to update on this blog. Will update them after exams. Stay tuned!

p/s: I'm reminded of the time when I was preparing for my Grade 8 piano exam. When practicing the Grade 8 piano pieces, I finally started to feel like I'm 'playing the piano' instead of just 'pressing the keys', haha. Somehow it feels quite similar now. That the closer you come to finish a course, the more you feel 'real' about it. It's as though you are only standing at the door towards that field. Pretty slow, huh. Am I always that slow in learning? -.-p/s: I've got soooo much to update on this blog. Will update them after exams. Stay tuned!
